Fix 'add-on missing from the menu'

If the SlidesAI add-on is missing from the menu or toolbar, it usually means the add-on was not installed correctly, was disabled, or needs to be reloaded. Expand the app you are using below for the fix.

Fix missing add-on

In Google Slides

  1. Wait a moment after install, then reopen Extensions — installed add-ons can take a moment to appear.

  2. Reload the presentation tab (Cmd/Ctrl + R).

  3. Check Extensions → Add-ons → Manage add-ons and confirm SlidesAI is installed.

  4. If it is disabled, click Manage and enable it.

  5. Reinstall from the Google Workspace Marketplace if it is missing.

In PowerPoint

  1. Go to Insert → My Add-ins and confirm SlidesAI is listed.

  2. If it is not listed, go to Insert → Get Add-ins, search for SlidesAI, and add it again.

  3. Restart PowerPoint so the add-in registers in the toolbar at the top.

  4. Make sure you are signed in to Office and connected to the internet.
