Fix sign-in errors in PowerPoint

Office sign-in errors in PowerPoint mean the SlidesAI add-in cannot verify your Microsoft account or connect to the internet. This prevents the add-in from loading or generating slides.

Sign in to Office

  1. In PowerPoint, click your name in the top-right corner.

  2. Sign in with your Microsoft account if you are not already signed in.

  3. Make sure the account is active and has a valid Office 365 or Microsoft 365 subscription.

Check network and add-in status

  • Confirm you are connected to the internet. The add-in needs a live connection to work.

  • Check if your organization blocks outside add-ins. If so, ask your IT admin to allow SlidesAI.

  • If the add-in pane is blank, close and reopen the SlidesAI add-in from the toolbar at the top.

Re-add the add-in

  1. Go to Insert → My Add-ins.

  2. If SlidesAI is not listed, add it again from Microsoft AppSource.

  3. Restart PowerPoint after adding it.

Office sign-in errors often happen when the sign-in session expires. Signing out and back in to Office usually fixes it.
