Give SlidesAI your own material and it builds the presentation from it instead of starting from scratch. You can paste text, attach documents, or add images to any message.
Paste your notes or script
Paste your text straight into the message box. Long pastes show as a small Pasted card so the box stays readable. The card is still there if you refresh the page.
SlidesAI works out what you pasted and treats it the right way:
A topic or rough notes: SlidesAI writes the slides for you.
A finished script: SlidesAI keeps your exact wording on the slides.
Long source material, like an article or report: SlidesAI picks out the key points.
If SlidesAI is not sure, it asks whether to keep your words or rewrite them. To always keep your words, add the Keep my wording instruction on the setup card.
Keeping your exact wording and condensing long material are on paid plans. On the Free plan, SlidesAI uses your text as notes.
How much text you can send
Each message has a character limit that depends on your plan. The message box shows how many characters you have used.

If your paste is over the limit, you can send only the part that fits, upgrade your plan, or (on Premium) attach the text as a document instead.
Attach documents
Attach a document when your material is already in a file. SlidesAI reads it and uses it to build the outline.
In the message box, click +.
Click Add document(s).
Choose your file and send your message.
Attach a document from the + menu in the message box.
File types: PDF, Word (.docx), PowerPoint (.pptx), plain text (.txt), and Markdown (.md).
How many: up to 5 documents per chat.
How long: SlidesAI reads up to about 100,000 characters of text from a document.
Plans: document upload is on Pro and Premium.
Add images
Add a photo, chart, or screenshot and SlidesAI looks at it to understand what you need. Drag images into the chat or paste them into the message box.
Each image can be up to 5 MB.
PNG, JPEG, and WebP files work.
