Research before the outline
When web search is on and you have not attached a document, the setup card shows a Research the web first switch. Turn it on and SlidesAI writes a short research summary before it plans your slides. SlidesAI marks this switch Suggested when it thinks your topic needs it.
What it costs
Web search works on every plan, including Free. A quick search uses 5 credits. A full research summary uses 80 credits. Picking a higher response quality raises both amounts.
