Credits and limits when you create with chat

Chatting and planning your outline are free. You use credits when SlidesAI writes or changes slides, researches the web, or draws AI images. Your plan also sets a few limits, such as how many slides a presentation can have.
What uses credits
Free: chat messages, questions, outline changes, and stock images.
Uses credits: writing the slide text, creating the presentation, changing or adding slides, web research, and AI-generated images.
Your balance shows in the credits button above the message box. Click it to see your usage history or open billing. On a paid plan, the menu also has Buy credits. On the Free plan, it shows Upgrade plan instead.
Open the credits menu, then pick a response quality.
What a presentation costs
The cost of a presentation depends on how many slides it has. It covers writing the slide text and creating the designed slides. These amounts are for the default Balanced response quality, and do not include AI images.

What images cost
Each AI-generated image has a fixed price set by the image quality you pick. Stock images from the web are free.

Change the image quality: click Choose imagery above the message box, then open Quality.
Auto: SlidesAI picks the image quality that matches your response quality. Lite uses Quick, Balanced uses Standard, and Advanced or Ultra use Sharp. Ultra images are used only when you pick them.
Response quality does not change image prices. A Standard image costs 2 credits whether you use Lite or Ultra.
Fewer images, fewer credits: set Amount to No images, or set Source to Web / stock, to avoid image costs. With Mix of both, you pay only for the AI images.
You pay only for images that are actually created. For example, a presentation with 6 AI images at Standard uses 12 credits for images. The same 6 images at Sharp use 30 credits.
How response quality changes the cost
Pick a response quality in the message box. A higher quality gives better writing and design but uses more credits for slides and edits.

For example, a 10-slide presentation uses 105 credits on Balanced and 210 credits on Advanced, plus any AI images.

On the Free plan, you get 200 credits each month to try SlidesAI. Unused free credits expire at the end of the month.
When you run out of credits
When your balance reaches 0, you cannot send messages that need credits. Buy more credits from the credits button, or upgrade your plan. Your chat and your slides stay safe while you do this.
