Create your account with Google sign-in
Most SlidesAI accounts are created automatically the first time you continue with Google. There's no separate sign-up step — the Google (Gmail) account you choose becomes your SlidesAI account. This article explains how that works and how to check which Gmail account you're signed in with, because your plan and billing are tied to that specific account.
How account creation works
When you click Continue with Google on the Platform, or grant permissions to the Google Slides add-on, SlidesAI creates an account linked to that Google email. The next time you sign in with the same Google account, you land back in the same SlidesAI account with all your presentations and your plan.
Important: Your subscription and presentation limits belong to the exact Gmail account you signed up with. If you sign in with a different Google account, it's treated as a separate, free account.
Check which Gmail account is active
If you're not sure which account you're using:
On the SlidesAI Platform — open the account/profile menu (top-right). Your signed-in email is shown there.
In Google Slides — the add-on runs under the Google account that owns the presentation; check the account avatar in the top-right of Google Slides.
In PowerPoint — open the SlidesAI add-in pane; your signed-in email appears in the account area.
If the email isn't the one you expected, sign out and sign back in with the correct Google account.
Using the wrong account?
If you accidentally created your account (or subscription) under the wrong Gmail, see Fix billing tied to the wrong account.
